I earned a PhD in International Politics and Documentary Filmmaking (2019) at Queens University Belfast, Northern Ireland.  My PhD research examined the transnational connections to the opioid overdose crisis in New England, USA. As a professional filmmaker, I pursued visual practice-based research to create a three-channel video installation representing the connections between Tasmanian poppy agriculture, commercial trade infrastructure at the US-Mexico border, and public health responses to opioid overdoses in Massachusetts.  I currently lead sales and marketing for a clean technology company in the heavy trucking industry.
